Many people assume that a Will is enough and will suffice in leaving everything to their loved ones as they wish. This is probably one of the biggest misconceptions individuals have when it comes to Estate Planning. A Will alone is not enough to avoid probate. A Will always goes through Probate and is made public. For an individual that has assets and likes to maintain privacy, a Will alone may not be the best option.
